About erynk

erynk was born out of passion for beauty and crafting, and the desire to share with others what one girl alone cannot wear by herself (especially in the hot tropical weather of Singapore). And where ideas are constantly overflowing, it is impossible for a schooling girl to find the time and occasion to wear all the pieces that materialise. So here's where you can find one-of-a-kind jewelry that you cannot find anywhere else! In this time and age of widespread mass production, having something you know that only you have is rare and special - here at the home-workshop of erynk, the aim is to be able to give you the secret joy of possessing something that belongs only to you!

The erynk collections are updated with new pieces when possible - follow erynk on Facebook and Instagram for announcements of new pieces!

About the Designer

It all started with a roll of fishing line and a box of leftover glass beads in 2003.

Back then, being able to create the rough shapes of butterflies and fishes was something I prided myself in as a young 13-year-old girl. When I look back now, I cannot understand how my attempts could have been generously applauded as they were by my friends. But it's thanks to the ever-supportive people in my life over the past ten years that I gradually proceeded with confidence from loose forms of shapes made with fishing line and beads, to beading with a mix of basic wiring, and to where I finally am now.

Although the form of and materials in my craft have changed, what drives me has remained the same - the desire to try to create something by myself. Having never taken classes or read any of the numerous guidebooks out there, I believe that there is still much for me to learn and there are still many things that I am not aware of. Nevertheless, it has been a wonderful past decade of dreaming up designs and seeing them take shape in my hands. Each piece I make contains joy and praise to God for giving us the ability to experience beauty and appreciate it, and it is my sincere wish that I can share this with you.
